Scanners

We have 3 types of scanners for jewelry labels: Laser, CCD and Bi-dimensional (2D).

1.- Laser are the most recommendable ones, because no matter how small the barcode is or if the labels are folded, the scanner will read it.

Decode Capability: UPC/EAN, UPC/EAN with Supplementals, UCC/EAN 128, Code 39, Code 39 Full ASCII, Code 39 TriOptic, Code 128, Code 128 Full ASCII, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, Discrete 2 of 5, Code 93, MSI, Code 11, IATA, GS1 DataBar (formerly RSS) variants, Chinese 2 of 5

Example: Code 39 ( Barcode that contains 9 digits code and can fit in an area from 16mm wide and up. )
Suitable for our labels: XBARCO22, XBARCO26, BARCO27, XBARCO50, XBARCO29

2.- The CCD scanners are the most economic ones but it is recommendable to print a wider barcode to read perfectly.

Decode Capability: Auto discriminates all standard one-dimension barcodes EAN-8, EAN-13 UPCA, UPC-E, EAN/UPC, Add-ons Code-39, UCC/EAN-128, Industrial-2/5, Interleaved-2/5, Martix 25, Codabar/Nw7, Code-11, Telepen, MSI/Plessey, Scode.

Example: Code 128 ( Barcode that contains 6 digits code and can fit in an area from 22.5mm wide and up.)
Suitable for our labels: XBARCO26, BARCO27, XBARCO50, XBARCO29

3.- The (2D) Bi-Dimensional Imager scanner will read any barcode including those very small with a lot of information, but this item is a more expensive product.
